Financial Resources for WA State Small Businesses & Individuals during Covid-19

Both Individuals & Small businesses are drastically affected by the Governor’s closure of non-essential businesses and the current stay-at-home orders.

Pandemic Unemployment Assistance- Apply for unemployment even if you do not meet the traditional requirements such as Self-employed, part-time employees and people affected by Covid-19. It also offers increased unemployment benefit payments of $600 per week through July 2020 paid by the Federal Government. Additionally, it provides an extension of unemployment for up to 13 additional weeks (39 weeks max.)

Payroll Protection Program from the SBA (PPP)- Apply for a potentially forgivable loan to be used for payroll and employee retention.

Economic Injury Disaster Loans from the SBA (EIDL)- Apply for a loan to be used for business expenses. Currently offering up to $10,000 non-repaid advance on the loan to meet immediate financial needs.

Working Washington Small Business Grant- Apply for a grant of up to $10,000 for small businesses in WA State open over 1 year and with less than 10 employees. The grant must be used on operating expenses, not payroll.
